"Without the Notre Dame Club of Philadelphia I would not have met
my wife, Julie. My friend, Kristin, '02, convinced a group of young
alums to attend a black tie New Year's Eve event at the National
Constitution Center in Philadelphia. At the last minute, another friend of ours,
canceled because he suddenly became ill. We had one extra
ticket that was going to go to waste until another club member suggested that their cousin Julie take the ticket.
Julie's plans for the evening had also fallen through at the very last minute. Julie had all of an hour to get ready for a black tie function. Lo and behold, she got ready with time to spare. We spent the night chatting and
dancing and almost 2 years later we were married. We're expecting our
first child in August. "
