Using the club as a resource

"When I moved to Worcester, MA - I didn't know anyone.  My company paid for me to live in temporary housing until I found a new home - but, I didn't know where to look for a Realtor that I could trust, and who understood me.  I emailed the local Notre Dame Club that put me in touch with a Notre Dame Realtor.  It worked out great.  I even used the same Realtor to help me sell my home when I left.

"After meeting a few Young Alums at a Philadelphia UND Celebration in February 2004, my new club friends were so welcoming to us and they encouraged us to come check out a club Happy Hour.  We decided to go to the club Happy Hour -where  I ran into a friend who I knew as an undergrad.  I was looking to get more involved in service, so my friend from undergrad introduced me to a group - the Eastern PA Chapter of HOBY, which is where we have volunteered our time ever since.  This has lead me to be able to serve time on their Seminar Board and/or Corporate Board. "
