Alum finds a job through the club network

"My wife and I became regulars at happy hours and game watches for the Philadelphia club.  It was through these events that I met someone who worked in my field at a company I had never considered before.  I took him up on his offer to switch jobs --and I couldn't be happier!"

"I found out about my job through the Notre Dame Club of Philadelphia. I am grateful to have found a job that I enjoy and an opportunity to work with colleagues who share my connection to Notre Dame."

"After only meeting another alum a few times, I was offered a summer job during a Philadelphia Club gamewatch."

"I have lots to say about what the ND Club(s) have done for me. Obviously the scholarships sponsored by the Clubs (especially the club of LA) provided me with the resources to have attended ND. But more recently my work with the ND Club of Chicago as the summer intern and as a member of the YA committee have helped me find my professional passion, working with alumni. Because of my work with Kristin Lund and other ND alumni, I gained many skills and insights into the university community that helped me in my studies as a master's student at Penn majoring in higher education management. The experiences the ND club of Chicago provided me opened my eyes to the alumni world outside of the boundaries of the golden dome and have moved me to my position as the Director of External Relations at an inner city Catholic elementary school in Chicago."
